INUKSHUKS ART Kindergarten - 8th
Sept 2017

The first big art project was an acrylic Inukshuk art piece in spirit of our school values and mission expressed by our principle Nicholas Ford. Inukshuks worked as a stones navigation tool for the Eskimos. Mr. Ford talked about an inukshuk as a sign for others, live to make a mark on the land to follow for those coming behind us. The kids had so much fun creating with acrylic paints and different sized brushes.

OLF Tree of Life Leaves
The first project the first week of school, was the Tree of Life, which includes all the students at Our Lady of Fatima.  Each student added an instaphoto of themselves on a leaf and wrote what they look forward to the most in art this year.

We are live with our blog, very exciting! Our goal is to update you here on a regular basis about the creative fun projects your children are making. This year we are two teachers; Esperanza Salazar and Vibeke Parks, if you have any questions regarding art feel free to contact us directly.
